On November 25th, 1992, Aladdin was released in theaters, twenty years ago to this day. Since then the movie has grown to become one of the most beloved Disney movies of all time for many reasons, including memorable songs, stunning animation, and Robin Williams as the hilarious Genie. It was the number one highest grossing movie of 1992 and was nominated for five Oscars, of which it won two.

So! Tell us in the comments what you think about Aladdin and the fact that the movie itself is now twenty years old. Have you watched it recently? Do you have any fond memories associated with this film? Got any Aladdin merchandise lying around? Share it all here!

What? No. Omg. I AM OLDER THAN ALADDIN.

It really is one of my favourites, one of my favourite VHS tapes. I find it a little bit of a shame that A Whole New World is really overplayed now - listening to it in the context of the film, it doesn't quite have the same punch as the lesser known songs. But perhaps this is just because I have watched it so many times.

Jessica Simpson ruined A Whole New World for me. I was watching the bonus features that first weekend I owned the DVD, and hearing her voice... yeah, she butchered it. Badly. Nick was OK. She was terrible.

I honestly think One Jump Ahead & it's reprise are the best songs.

Nothing could ruin that song as hard as hearing ex-Glamour-model-now-reality-tv-star-always-waste-of-space Katie Price and her then-husband-now-ex-always-irrelevant-pop-star-hasbeen Peter Andre sing it.

Pure noise. Youtube that car crash. It's amazing in a terrible way.

Aladdin is my favorite movie. Ever.

I had tons of merchandise growing up that was heavily abused to the point of them falling apart (and were thrown out because of several reasons).

I don't have tons of Aladdin merchandise (due to not being a doll collector), but I love each and every Aladdin thing I have.

Also, I've seen the musical on stage. Greatest birthday EVER.
