Brave: Out on DVD/Blu-Ray Today!

It's November 13, so Brave is out on Blu-Ray/DVD! Well, at least in the states.

So, tell me your thoughts/opinions on the movie! Are you guys planning on getting this one? If you're passing on it, is there a reason why?

Lovelovelove this movie, I'm picking up my preorder for it and the limited edition 17" Merida and Elinor dolls today!

I will definitely be getting Brave on DVD! My family members liked seeing it in theaters and so did I, so as soon as we can work out where to buy it from (probably Amazon), we'll get right on it!

I love me some Blu-Ray/DVD combos, and I don't think twenty dollars is too bad a price, especially for a big-name movie like this one. That's the Amazon price, at least, though I have to check Target and Wal-Mart first!

I was up until 7am, so I was like LOL, LET'S MAKE THE BRAVE POST.


Anyways, Walmart prices are pretty good the first couple of days: I got the avengers bluray four disc edition for $22ish, which is not bad at all.


My work will be selling it, but we only have two copies, so I'm guessing it'll be pricey. I mean, Cinderella two disc bluray was around $30 :/

I checked Wal-Mart's website, and compared to Amazon they aren't doing me any favors this time around, so I guess I'll stick with the latter. Besides, I'm always too lazy to get up and go out anyway. xD

Anyway, I can't wait to gif this movie. >D

Ah. Btw: I was right about my work being extremely overpriced. It was 30.99 for the three disc version. I ended up buying it, anyways.

I finally got off my lazy butt and ordered it yesterday from Amazon. The price had gone down to fifteen from my preferred seller (+shipping of course)!

Yep, this'll be a DVD for the family collection. I'm not even one for buying DVDs (last one I bought was Princess and the Frog - that movie will NEVER get old) but the movie was fantastic. I went to see it with friends; a little embarrassing in hindsight as I was tearing up to the max at the end. I've always had a close relationship with my mom and really loved how Pixar handled Merida and Elinor's relationship. Like most Disney movies, it's genuine and has a lot of heart. Definitely one to watch over and over :)

I also loved Fergus, because who doesn't?! If Pixar ever considers another Brave movie, it should focus on him. It'd be epic!

I cried in PatF when I went to go see it with my cousin (who was 8 a the time) and then I cried in Toy Story 3 when I went with my best friend. Disney really knows how to make a person cry xD

FERGUS WAS AWESOME. AND THE TRIPLETS. AND ELINOR. AND LET'S NOT FORGET MERIDA.

...I quite liked the characters in this movie, lol.
