Everybody's got a laughing place...

Sad news, all you Motorcitizens out there. People of Motorcity, an animator run blog on tumblr famous for reblogging Motorcity fanart and the like, has gotten word that the show will not be picked up for a second season.

"It is with great sadness that I must announce that DisneyXD will not be renewing Motorcity for a second season.

This has been such an amazing and rewarding project for all of us here at Titmouse work on, thanks in no small part to all of you.  I can’t begin to tell you how much having such awesome fans has ment to us."

Motorcity, animated by Titmouse studios, is an action/adventure series set in a future Detroit that has been split into two halves, one a sprawling, spotless but oppressed Detroit Deluxe and the other a colorful but grungy Motorcity, in which Mike Chilton and his team of Burners fight against the corrupt corporation KaneCo. It was highly praised for its excellent animation and fun, quirky characters. 

The series premiered on April 2012.
