Today my dad pretty much confirmed that he's willing to help me make my way back to Disneyland California next year, and even though it's months away, I'm getting pretty excited.
So, have you visited one, or more of the Disney Parks? Which is your favourite? If you haven't been to any, which would you like to go to most?
I've been to both Disneyland Paris and Disneyland California. Because I live in jolly old England, it's really easy to get to Paris via the Eurostar so I've been to Disneyland Paris a grand total of three times - once when I was four, again when I was six, and then about three or four years ago for Christmas. I adore the Parisian flavour that is infused with everything; I've often heard people say that Disneyland Paris isn't very good, but it really is. What it is is more European, and being European it's not that unusual for us, but it still has that unique Disney magic. And Space Mountain is freaking awesome.
I had the privilege of visiting California in June/July of this year. My best friend and I attended VidCon (which was awesome in so many ways) and then we spent four days on the parks. Being the Disney geek that I am, it totally felt like a pilgrimage, and the memories will stay with me forever. On the last day, which was the Fourth of July I had the incomparable pleasure of meeting Gigi in person, which was utterly amazing. We'd been Skyping and whatnot for about seven months at that point, and to actually meet in person was mindblowingly awesome
I came home wanting to turn back around a fly back. All eleven hours of flight.

Date: 2012-11-25 04:57 am (UTC)Yes, I live thirty minutes away from Disneyland California. Have had passes continuously for five years now, and I also had them for a few years when I was younger. I adore my pass. Going to Disneyland is like, my favorite thing. <3
And it's a biiiiiig dream of mine to visit as many Disney theme parks as possible over my lifetime. Disneyland Paris and Disney World are definitely up there on the list, especially because Disneyland Paris would go hand in hand with a trip to London to visit Ally! :D
